This morning, I came into my office.

I sat down at my desk.

I turned some music on.

I took a deep breath.

I pushed pause.

Regardless of  what sensation fills your body this morning; whether joy or angst, relief or doubt or other…  Our minds, our hearts, our bodies have known the inundation of information, rhetoric, and a society at dis-ease with self and each other.

Today… In this moment, in these moments, I offer this…

Take a deep breath

Find beauty in the day and gaze upon it

Taste or smell something amazing

Listen for the still quiet song of a bird, the giggle of a child, the heartbeat of a lover

Step into your physical self and surroundings today and call back the pieces of heart and mind that life and days past have pulled upon, TODAY… take a moment and BREATHE.
